Our cultural work expands the boundaries of architecture by engaging art from the private to the public scale. Mutuus partners Kristen and Saul share a deep love of the arts as being essential to the human condition. Mutuus Studio parther Kristen’s poly-passionate interests are deeply connected to the arts with her background in dance, theatre and film. She has collaborated with world renown artists on numerous large scale public art installations on one of the first installations on High Line in New York, Times Square, Art Basel Miami among others. Her husband and Mutuus Made Partner Saul, is an artist and shipwright and has led to an expansive view of architecture and design.

The studio has supported world renown artists from the early Brooklyn studio with helping execute complex public art installations across the country - working with artists such as Pae White, Paul Ramirez Jonas, sound artist Stephen Vitiello. Their work extends to their own projects like the Bellingham Acid Ball Project for Waypoint Park, a large scale installation at Bumbershoot Seattle, and a recent large scale diorama at the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles.
